Choosing the right size
Rhythmic gymnastics clubs come in two standard sizes. Junior clubs measure 36 cm and are typically suited to gymnasts under 10 years old or shorter than 150 cm. Senior clubs measure 40–45 cm and are the standard for older gymnasts and all FIG-level competition. The right length depends on your gymnast's arm length — when held at the widest end, the club tip should reach roughly to the middle of the forearm.
Materials and construction
Most competition-grade clubs are made from rubber with a fibreglass core, giving them the ideal balance of weight, grip and durability. Connectable clubs (where the ends click together) are essential for transport and storage. Handles can be personalised with decorative adhesive tape to match leotard colours or team uniforms.
FIG-approved options
For gymnasts competing at regional, national or international level, FIG-approved clubs are a requirement. Our range includes fully certified options from Pastorelli (including the popular Masha connectable clubs) and Chacott's Hi-Grip rubber clubs.
