Collection: Half-shoes

Find the right half shoes for rhythmic gymnastics at Gymnamo. We carry a specialist selection from leading brands including Sasaki, Venturelli and Dvillena — designed specifically for the demands of rhythmic gymnastics footwork.

Half shoes vs toe socks

Half shoes (also called toe shoes) cover the front of the foot while leaving the heel free, giving gymnasts the grip they need for turns, balances and pivots on carpet. Some gymnasts prefer knitted toe socks for a lighter, more flexible feel. The best choice depends on personal preference, foot shape and what your coach recommends. If you are unsure, our guide to choosing toe shoes and socks can help.

Sizing and fit

Half shoes should fit snugly without restricting movement. Most brands follow standard European sizing, but fit can vary — Venturelli's Soft Shape model runs slightly different to Sasaki or Dvillena options. We recommend checking the size guide on each product page. If you are between sizes, going slightly smaller usually gives a better performance fit.  If you're unsure which toe shoes/socks to buy, read our guide to finding the right ones.

For training and competition

All of our half shoes are suitable for both training and competition use. They are designed to work on standard rhythmic gymnastics carpet surfaces. For gymnasts training on harder floors, models with thicker sole pads offer extra cushioning and grip.
